A Little History


Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

  • Fits close to the body. Our slim fit is easier than the industry standard—with stretch for maximum comfort.
  • Soft and stretchy. A jersey knit with the luxurious feel that comes from extra-long staple cotton. Grown, spun, dyed and knit in Peru.
  • 3-inch-wide yoke waistband with 1-inch elastic.
  • V-shaped side pockets.
  • 10-inch rise; 28-inch inseam; 4-inch leg opening (size small). 10-inch rise; 26-inch inseam; 4-inch leg opening (size petite small).
  • We recommend machine wash cold.
  • Made in Peru. 92% Organic Pima Cotton/8% Spandex.
