A Little History


Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

  • Designed with an easy, boxy fit.
  • Our signature jersey supports a New Mexico farmer who's transitioning 178 new acres to meet organic standards by 2020. Soft andstretchy with a luxurious feel that comes from extra-long fibers.
  • Grown without pesticides. Knit and dyed in Montreal. Cut and sewn in NYC.
  • Crew neck, short sleeves, high-low hem with 4 1/2-inch side slits.
  • Finely finished with banding at the neckline.
  • We recommend machine wash cold. May be dry cleaned. Color transfer may occur with wearing and washing on dark colors.
  • Made in USA of imported fabric. 90% Cotton/10% Spandex.
