A Little History


Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

An elegant silk dress defined by unique, crushed texture. Featuring a scoop neck and horizontal seams with shirring to create a tiered silhouette.

Product Details:

  • Close at the shoulders, wider at the hem. A silhouette that fits the body with ease.
  • Relaxed elegance. Light and lustrous silk that's twisted by hand for crinkled texture.
  • Scoop neck, sleeveless, horizontal seams.
  • Dry clean for best results, no steam.
  • If you prefer, place in a mesh bag and machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Remove promptly and twist to crinkle—do not wring. Hang and secure ends with rubber band to hold twist. Unravel when fully dry to reveal crinkles. Please note that the texture created will be unique each time.
