A Little History


Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

  • Subtly curved through the leg, slightly tapered at the ankle. Fits the body with ease.
  • Our classic-weight denim. Organic cotton with just enough stretch.
  • 1 1/2-inch waistband with belt loops, fly front with zipper and button closure.
  • Side panel detail with front on-seam pockets, back patch pockets.
  • 10 1/2-inch rise; 28-inch inseam; 7-inch leg opening (size XS). 10 1/2-inch rise; 26-inch inseam; 7-inch leg opening (size PS). 13-inch rise; 28-inch inseam; 8-inch leg opening (size 1X).
  • Dye may transfer. Use care when wearing.
