A Little History


Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

  • Our medium-weight organic linen—natural texture with a relaxed feel. Loved since 2008.
  • 1 1/2-inch elastic waistband, front slash pockets.
  • Back darts for shape.
  • 11-inch rise; 27 1/2-inch inseam; 7-inch leg opening (size XS). 11-inch rise; 25 1/2-inch inseam; 6 1/2-inch leg opening (size PS). 13 1/2-inch rise; 27 1/2-inch inseam; 8-inch leg opening (size 1X).
  • Machine wash cold. Line dry. Do not dry clean.
