A Little History


Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

  • A yarn-dyed check with the look of seersucker and the lightness andbreathability of organic linen. Washed for crinkled texture.
  • 1 1/2-inch elastic waistband, 1-inch-deep front pleats.
  • Side panel detail, on-seam front pockets.
  • 11-inch rise; 26-inch inseam; 8-inch leg opening (size small).
  • We recommend machine wash cold.
