A Little History
Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

Though our sizing has varied over time, our design principles haven’t. An emphasis on simple shapes with an easy fit means you can size down—or up—to create a look that’s all your own. NATURAL WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist at your natural waistline.
