A Little History


Eileen launched her line in 1984 with a single size: 1. A few years later, she added 2 then 0. In Fall 1992, the company began to shift to S, M and L. Slowly, the letters replaced the numbers. When we made our first skinny jean in 2009, we added traditional numeric sizing to the mix. Today, EILEEN FISHER offers a full size range that includes XXS-XL and numerically sized pants, as well as Petite and Plus collections.

Product Details:

  • Finely woven silk we've loved since 2008. Lustrous and lightweight with subtly crushed texture.
  • Start with the Foundation. This scarf is designed to be worn on repeat. It’s\npart of our system of dressing that lets you do more with less.
  • Generously sized to serve as a scarf or wrap.
  • 84 inches long by 16 inches wide (42 inches wide when expanded).
  • Hand wash cold with mild detergent. Twist to create crinkle and dry twisted. Do not iron. Do not steam. May be dry cleaned.
  • Made in China. 100% Silk.
  • Our silk supplier began converting its conventional mulberry farm to organic in 2022—currently silk produced here is considered “in-conversion” as suppliers make the transition. Sourcing from farms during the 3-year conversion period supports farmers and increases organic fiber supply.
  • This fabric is bluesign® APPROVED. It's dyed with safer chemistry using less\nwater and less energy, meeting the bluesign® CRITERIA.
